Hi, have written about this before, the rear wiring loom dropped onto the exhaust and despite my best attempts, including re-wiring the re-wiring for 4 hours at the weekend, i am still having problems.

The rear stop light, the lower rear indicator and the front sidelight aren't working, however the brake light is...all the problems are on the same side of the 1987 90 landy.

The question is, as a temporary measure, can i steal power from the corresponding lights that do work...i.e cut the electrics from the stop light that does work, splice an extra wire in and run this over to the light that doesn't work...i know this is a crap solution but until i have a weekend free to strip the wiring again i need a quick fix...and to avoid Mr Plod giving me a fine for driving with a faulty light...any suggestions or comments appreciated...Mark

Yes you can, it's how the lights are wired from new anyway. with everything going to the O/S lights and then to the N/S Lights. You can buy the bullet connectors from Halfrauds or any autoparts place.
