I'll be taking a test drive 2mrw, so I need to know, on a B plate 90, how do I..

Select 4WD, engage diff locks, select high / low ratio AND when should I / should not I do so.

Many thanks for any info :p

It's permanant four wheel drive, the short stumpy lever engages High, Low and difflock in your transfer box, forward for high backwards for low, left for difflock on, right for difflock off, unless you're on gravel, mud or wotever will allow the wheels to spin don't drive very far at all with difflock engaged, you should get a light on the dash a bit like a sideways H when difflock is engaged, It wont come on immediately or go off immediately cos of the mechanism in the transferbox. Engage/disengage either while stationary.

Thanks. Engage, disengage high/low/difflock when stationary in nuetral I assume (this is probably really dumbass I know, just want to be sure).

I have been involved in motocross for many years and there is nothing more annoying than someone turning up to buy and trying to wreck a bike!!! same deal I guess.

No need to dip the clutch to engage diff lock, in fact LR transmission engineers advise you don't, provided:
You are not going too fast (below 30, if you need diff lock you shouldn't be going that fast anyway)
you are driving straight
The wheels aren't spinning.
