Mobile/Andriod etc version.

I've no idea at all what's involved with setting up a mobile/lite/beta version of LZ up but...

Would it be possible?

Other fora I use have mobile versions which are much simpler to use on a smart phone.

(My main gripe is [This], the typing screen thingy, the other sites are much simpler to use purely down to the fact that typing text is simple, text boxes fit automatically to screen size and images don't take over a small screen.

I won't be leaving lz (unless I'm ostracised or sent on holiday), this is just a query mote than owt.

Other fora: auto****e, arrse, ovni.org and some more.

Use Tapatalk. That's what I use for LZ on my phone

Tried it and didn't like it,I kept coming onto the full verdion to look at things...

I like the new version of arrse but that's on xenforo or summat.

tapatalk is fine but anything goes doesn't work through it. At least it doesn't when i try

I want a lz iphone app

Tapatalk has always worked brilliantly for me. I love it

LZ works fine as standard on my Android tablet, not bad on a Samsung Galaxy S3 either.

quick look shows a vbulletin client for android and if you pay vbulletin 5 seems to have a mobile version option.

Use full web version on my galaxy ace as well. Biggest drawback is searching is a bit of a pain and can't view attachments any sense. Managed for 3 months with no other devices. though shifting stuff around the forum got a little confusing with a max of 4 windows and only being able to view one at a time.

Note 3 is fine with the full Web version although posting not perfect as the reply window is rather big, resizing helps.

It would help if it was possible to have signatures and avatars off when on android, but everything turned on when using the laptop. Perhaps choose by ip address, as some member signatures and avatars are a bit saucy for work even at lunchtime.
