To launch The Building Centres major exhibition, 'SPANS: viaducts, bridges and walkways', The Engineering Club will present a special talk by Dr Michel Virlogeux, bridge specialist and designer of, among others, the Millau Viaduct, with Foster and Partners. He will discuss the challenge of how the tallest vehicular bridge in the world was conceived, modelled and built.
The talk will be followed by a reception to celebrate the opening of the SPANS exhibition.
