Mild panic! Unleaded fuel in series 3 1982

Just read the post on unleaded fuel, i have a series 3 1982 (x) that was running on unleaded when i got it earlier in the year. Is there any way i can check that the engine has actually had the correct modifications needed to run unleaded, it hasn't had any problems yet, but i'd prefer it didn't go bang because i didnt check!

i don't know of any outward sign, but that dint mean there arn't any. check yer ign timing that should give you some idea as i think yo need to shift yer dizzy fer to run on unleaded. if memory is right it should be 6° btdc for leaded if its not and it runs well that would be a good pointer to it be the right head.
