Middle seat belt removal

I done as much research as I can on this but I can’t seem to find anything on how to remove the rear middle seatbelt on a FL2 (2013MY). I have taken out the torx screw holding the retractor in place but I cannot for the life of me get it out the top of the seat. Problem is compounded by the fact the retractor has locked and the seat back is in the folded down position (hence why I need to remove it). Any advice for sorting this problem? For now I just need to be able to get the seat back up into position so I can get my kids in the back.

First put the torx screw back in the retractor, it needs to be square & balanced to work, lift the seat back up as much as you can, then remove the seat squab you sit on, this will give the belt a little room to release hopefully.
