Gents,

I wondered if anyone knew of a company that sold steel or aluminium wheel arch spats? So far my vigorous searching has only thrown up those polished chrome ones which, whilst being expensive, also wouldn't stay chrome for very long. Im just looking for simple metal replacements that I can spray; I'd much prefer them to the cheap tatty looking plastic ones.

If nowhere does them any ideas on where I can get a set fabricated and a rough cost?

Many thanks

I cant imagine anyone would sell them ,theres little call for it. Why do you want metal ones? Plastic ones can be painted fine and seeing as they are the first point of contact they would very quickly get knackered out being metal...

I don't really go off road or laning in mine so there isn't a great chance of them being torn off. No idea why, I just quite fancy metal ones. As I said I haven't been able to find any though

A mate of mine does fibreglassing and the stuff he's made for his landy is cracking; definitely something I need to get into. That and welding :). Not sure about fiberglass arches though, metal ones would get dented but could be hammered out, I imagine fiberglass would just smash or crack

They won't make them, they are only there because the wheels stick out a bit, so this is so that the wheels are within the max width of the vehicle.

I can't see any benefit to metal ones, only downsides.
