P38A Memory mirrors

Not a big issue but wondered if anyone had any ideas. I have the mirrors set to dip mode and for some reason the passenger side one dips but will not return, it does go up and down and side to side when using the console button so it is not a problem with the racks inside. The drivers side works absolutely fine. It is not something I have used in the past but since Rick-the-Pick did the BECM it reset the disable and I haven't bothered to switch them off. As I said, not an issue but just wondered if it was something easy to fix (silly question, it is a P38 after all.......)

Got a feeling this is a known issue. Sure I remember @Saint.V8 mentioning it.

It is a known issue and as yet I have not read of a solution....better to just disable it again in the BeCM...as it is a common fault.

Mine did the same 2 or 3 times a few months back. Pressed the seat memory button and the mirrors returned to normal. Strangely it hasn't happened since, and they are still in auto-dip mode. Never figured out why, but try re-programming the memory.

Just did the reprogramming and it has sort of fixed it, it dips and returns but not to the same position, I think I will take out the mirror glass and lubricate the bits and bobs because it does seem a bit sluggish in responding. Failing that I will just disable it again
