me new TD4

Mine is leaking in from the rear seal approx height of the handle theres a bend towards the front it weaks in there and then runs down the inside of the seal

well had rain for this evening gone to check the car and the boot floor is wet and i have no idea where or how to stop it where i thought it was coming in looks dry

Alli canseeif that when u open the tailgate you see the trim that has 3 grooves it seems to be dripping from the ns of the trim that the groove trim is screwed on top of

If anyone understands that does anyone have any idea where its coming from coz I cnt see a thing

another area to look at is the roof- the black trim above the tailgate is held on by a galvanized piece of steel, the steel is screwed inplace, i found that the piece if steel had corroded to exess, and allowed water to run in through the screw holes,
to fix i removed the steel, filled the holes and reatached the black trim using clear silicone sealant, that was 4 years ago and it hasnt leaked since,

just been out to check and think i have cured it no leaks with last night rain

so my temp fix has worked until i can get a new rear door seal

i no what you mean about the trim when i went and look at buying it they trim wasnt clicked in the middle and was the first thing i did when i got it home as it was raining

this is a year old
