Well after shooting my mouth off about how reliable the old rangie is yesterday it blew off the top hose pumped out the coolant and I fried her - interestingly the temp guage didnt move so now I have to have the heads off again boo hoo

Ha just an opportunity to improve performance now as for an old oil burner would have to wear a paper bag to hide my identity.

Looking at the selection in your garage you are obviously a brave man...

could be an oppertunity to put a 3.0 tdv6 in inplace of the v8???

now now boys we all know that the v8 is superior to the oil burner in performance and refinement and I am not denying that a p38 with a proper beefy oil burner would be very good but please to convert a fine v8- albeit having an off period - would be a travesty
Anyway off back to Abu Dhabi for another month so it will have to wait given myself 10 days when I get back to dismantle and have heads skimmed etc we shall see or might just flog it and buy another
