After some really good replies on my thread here: http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f8/still-got-issues-300tdi-91973.html
I was waiting for the diagnosis as explained in the thread, but unfortunately the guy never made it over here, it was the same day that all the snow decided to come down!
Anyhow, I tried to start it again yesterday more to check the battery condition ready for when I ring the guy next week. I left the pedal alone, waited for the glow plug light to go out, then waited a further 10 seconds or so, I then turned the key, and it started almost straight away and ran quite nicely at around 900rpm for about 1 min or so. I tried some gentle throttle, and it responded well and held the revs at about 2000 rpm. I then lifted off, and let it idle again. After about another 30 secs or so, it started missing and when I tried to rev it the old issue was back.
I can't believe it is anything too major as I would have thought it would be an issue from the get go.
Any more ideas or help are more than welcome.
Cheers.
JB
