Hey guys,

Been looking at my spot lights and when on they arnt really any brighter than my normal main beams,

They currently have 55w bulbs in them,

What is the road legal limit?? Could I go brighter?

If the bulb you want to use is E marked it's ok for road use, if it's not E marked it's for off road use only. Most high wattage bulbs aren't E marked ;)
 
I can't remember the exact light lumin fugure, but I don't think any head light dip or main can exceed around 1950 lumins per lamp. This is the reason GT versions of older cars got 4 lights instead of 2 that the normal models got.
Although cars that were pre 1985 iirc didn't require E marked bulbs at all.
