Manual Gearbox or transfer Box Problems

Hi all

so where shall i start this car is causing me more problems then my marriage

what happened is that i was driving it when all of a sudden my clutch pedal gave way on my 95 dse and wouldnt come back up the car was stuck in second gear but was still moving so in it went to the garage the mechanic replaced the slave cylinder as that was shotso then he took gearbox off along with transfer box took it to a specialist who had a look at it and he released the gearbox saying the selector fork had got stuck between 2nd and 4th gear so mechanic put it all back together and now the car has no drive it will go into every gear but wont move nad it just makes a noise

any help to diagnose this will be much appreciated

I assume that the transfer box isn't in neutral.

how do i check if the transfer box is in neutral its just making noises i suspect something has broken inside going to have o get it out and give it to KN transmissions

While being taken for repair at the garage, did someone put in the Towing Fuse in the fuse box under the seat, to place the transfer box in neutral???

PS. Re-reading your first post, did the mechanic repair the problem that caused the gearbox to get stuck between 2nd and 4th or was it just released then refitted without repair???

ive got a proper RR box for sale.none of this modern ****e....

all sorted it was the motor that changes the gears from high to low that had stopped working so got the transmissions guy to put it in high gear from the transfer box so just looking for that motor also my 2nd gear has stopped working so need a new syncro mesh
