Manual Gear Knob P38

Hi all

just wanted to know if anyone has changed their gear knobs for a different one i ve been trying to find a wooden one with no avail would like to know if any one has changed theirs and where they got it from

There were some wooden ones on eBay a while ago, have you tried searching there??

tried ebay nothing on there have been told they do one for the freelander but dont know if it would fit

Id keep on searching and checking daily if you really want one, I know I have seen them on there, possible that the seller isnt selling any at the mo or something, Id keep an eye out for a bit before buying a FL one.

No, don't think they did, certainly can't see any reference to them within the parts catalog.

how different can the freelander one be if i cant get 1 than i think that will be the only other option

to be honest, the answer is I dunno - I try to blank out any memories of driving my specialists courtesy car Freelanders as quickly as possible - sorry

Hi, I looked at the wooden gear knob on ebay about 3-4 months ago but couldnt justify the £70 price tag, if i mind right it was "p38-spares" that had them, if you look them up on ebay you will get a phone No, they might be able to direct you to the supplier, also i tried looking up range rover p38 gear knob and got 45 items, Good luck.
