Mantec group purchase!

Howdy all.

Been having a discussion with Nick at Mantec and he is happy to rerun all of the Freelander 1 kit as long as we have a minimum of five orders for each product, and a discount will be offered for ten and above pieces.

So far I have requested pricing for the TD4 snorkels, Sump Guard and Exhaust Guard. He still has sill kits in stock.

If anyone is interested in any items or would like to investigate other items not listed above, then let me know. This offer will be on condition of prepayment only to ensure that no one drops out and leaves him with unwanted goods.

what about rock sliders

Prices will be the same as the previous list prices at present for 5-9 units realistically, after that he can start offering discounts. I will certainly enquire about rock sliders though I didnt think mantec made any for the freelander?

Do you have a link to the previous prices? I'd be tempted by a snorkel.

Waiting on an email to confirm prices. I think the TD4 snorkel came in at £180 (not sure if ex or inc vat) but I can check that.

I'd be interested in both but since they would mainly be cosmetic show for me, the discount would have to be good.

i might be interested in some guards depending on the price

Prices are still the same as that list as far as I can tell, and they are inc postage and VAT. Just to add, originally they didnt commercially sell the TD4 snorkel AFAIK, however he is happy to do a TD4 batch as part of a group order.

Spot on. Currently we are at four people for the TD4 snorkel. Plenty of people being non-specific so will try and clear up the pricing structure.

sump gaurds a tad expensive for me. Cant justify it as i dont do serious offroading but i would be VERY interested in some sill protectors. I can find some on google but they are £180

There are some on the 2009 price list for £90 and if i can find them i will buy them. Unless somone on here is handy with a metal bender and i will pay you

Just ring up mantec as they have the sill protectors in stock still in black and silver. £90 delivered. They don't require a group purchase as they aren't being made to order. Speak to Nick Gibbins in the technical/sales department and mention that I sent you.

any pics regarding fuel tank protector .. and exhaust protector ??
would just like to know .. looking at the prices .. ..
i.e. do either cover the rear diff ? ( i suspect the tank guard wouldn't )

( have searched on dr.google .. didn't find anything .. 'xcept defender 'n hippo2 parts photo'd )

and protective sills .. how do they attach .. is it welding ? .. bolts ? ..
( wondering as haynes mentions a 'sill finisher' that attaches with scrivets ..
( and being clueless regarding body bits .. i be asking

re. the sump guard .. are there cutouts for getting to oil draining / checking / filling plugs .. ??
