Confirmed. We will be open on Sunday 14th October 10 til 4
4x4s and bikes and quads all welcome. www.desertoffroad.co.uk will be running next week where you can book in on line. We will be open every Sunday until further notice. Paramedics and refreshments on site. Noise testing will be taking place. Entrance is off A617 Rainworth bypass Mansfield follow the Desert signs.

iv just drove the greenlane right beside the desert in my 90 its like a bloody river:lol: il deffo be there on that date......good news......

thought desert was all illegal? i work 2 minuites away from the entrance to desert off rainworth bypass down pit lane but that roads been closed for about 6 months now.
ill have a drive down later on roadtest.
whats it like is it a big course?

The road through the middle is legal, the police told me its a 60 mph speed limit. The rest of it as far as I no is private property.

i was told it was being run by the coppers ? is this true ? if so it may get a bit iffy when your leaving if you have any damage to your motor lol

might have a pop up next time in rangy

There was a 90 when we first got with 2 coopers driving it. They was around for an hour or so but didn't see them in afternoon

no mate its not run by the police, they were there to enforce peeps to stay within the permitted boundaries. If peeps do stick to the allowed land there is a possibility of more of the site being opened up for use, which would be great because its a very big site

Well one day of fun = two day of cleaning and repairing, well worth it though. Still trying to edit video will post soon
