ok i brought a ex mod 2 door 110 it has windows around the tub and is olive green, this is what i have done and am going to do

ripped out all th carpet , { floor pan and bulkhead are good } but bolts were rusted so will replace each one,
then i am going to paint all the inside and the inside of the side compartments with black hammerite

on the outside i'll paint it camel/sandstone , and the bonnet has been treadplated so i thought i would paint that {treadplate} black , spare wheels going on the bonnet { i can handle it}

wheels i'll paint white

thats for starters

will do the inside this weekend {weathers crap}

any idears?

haha :) all black inside? is that a good idea. imagine what its going to be like when you park it outside tesco on a hot sunny day and come back to it later to find you cant get in cos the air temp has vapourised everything in sight... dont be silly.

painted the inside of mine the same as the ootside , dont do carpets or trim, nasty stuff.

aye the old tread plate floors are quite good , i like to be able to hose it out see. some previous owner did put sills and wing tops on there though , and the rear floor , so , yup , plastered in the stuff.:eek: .

if you took them sills off it would pass the chequer plate test. its like rust, if you don't nip it in the bud it spreads all over.
there are some horrific picture on lZ of just how bad it can get. CP dash boards, door inners, tranny covers,rear floor, rear doors,sides,front bumper, you name it ... windows

yup , as soon as i get me galvy rock sliders (to harden things up a bit) il be rippin em off n chuckin em oot.
