Thank you @Saint.V8 I'll check the steering sensor. Once this is resolved I'm going to move it on and buy a later one. In truth, I think I have just been very unlucky. My wife's older 2007 has been more reliable than this one for >130K miles (with the exception of a couple of self-leveling struts and a turbo oil seal which was the result of letting her manage the annual service for it (became bi-annual then tri-annual
