Good evening to all you handy landys...have only just acquired my first 4 wheel drive to do a bit of towing...so just taking a few moments to say hello and introduce myself....not sure if I have selected the correct forum to do this, however im sure somebody will point me in the right direction if I havent.....So hello to all and looking forward to networking with some new colleagues..thanks..Russ

What a great picture.....bought a cheap Freelander 1998 off ebay...had to put 4 new tyres on it...repair the left hand window mechanism.....change the anti roll bar droppers (them that make the clunk noise)..put an aerial on....fit a cd player...and fit a mid section exhaust...but all in all its making for a good little motor...already towed a car and a motorbike so its up to the job I bought it for.....thanks for the response....could you please tell me how to post a question on the forum as I want to find out where the sunroof relay is as I dont have 12 volts at my fusebox..thanks..Russ

At the moment it is, watch this space though I do weird and wonderful stuff in engineering land...and there is too much empty space under the bonnet for my liking..need to fill it one day like a tin of sardines....good profile...im guessing you know what your talking about

He's already said its a gaylander ;) or a doorless plastic toy

he said it were a Freelander :p

too much room under the bonnet would indicate the presence of a k-series.

welcome to the site and good luck with filling out the engine bay, try fitting t-series and post a step by step guide ;) with piccies

You could always fill the space with a large amount of C4 and a remote detonator before running like the wind :p

Not quite got the hang of this viewing responses yet....will take me a few hours too suss it out.....glad to see theres a bit of banter going about...will engage with you on it soon once ive learnt to navigate round this site a bit better

Russ i post then disappear to the LZ Live, press the button at the top middle, then await a witty response to your own posts ;)
