do all the TD4 have a maf

the reason i ask is i have just taken my manifold off to clean out all the crap and fit my egr blank and didnt see one only 1 plug but nothing that looked like a MAF

its a 2001 TD4

found it

thought it was at the front and its not hence why i didn't disconnect it today

how come mine doesn't have a sensor at the front and some do... which sensor is it

in the picture on mine td4 i dnt have the sensor of the extra little pipe

hi yer I could be wrong but I think the senor is intake air temp was fitted to 03 td4 onward only I have a 03 td4 and this doesn't have this either. On the inlet manifold you should have a map sensor. the maf is at back of the engine just after the air filter.

Im looking at getting some hoses for it as these are not in the best of shape and dnt wnt to get the wrong ones as I clearly dnt need the little stright pipe but then clearly from my intercooler has to be longer to conpensate for that sensor missing
