Its been suggested that I get my MAF sensor changed when I next get my 2000 Vogue 4.6 serviced.

I sourced the parts through Island 4 x 4 - Britpart @ £44.99 or OEM @ £119.99 is there much between them, I've seen Britpart take a bit of a slagging on the forum, but thought I'd ask what forum members experience was of them.

Cheers Hano

Personally I wouldn't waste my cash on Britpart. If you look at the part number of the MAF, I think you will find it's a Bosch part, Google Bosche MAF sensors and you ought to be able to fing a Bosche part at a good price.
Why do think it needs to be changed?

Wash your mouth out ! why have you been told to change your existing at the next service ? If its faulty, it needs changing now.Do you have a set of readings for the airflow to compare with known good ones?

Keep well away from Britpart, you will end up causing yourself problems, buy genuine Bosch only.

Yep, I concur, IF it needs changing then needs doing NOW! Cannot "forsee" that it "might" need doing.

FORGET Brit (****)part.........as Data says, get part no and search Bosche - you'll get the same part 1/2 ofstealer price!
