Just changed my maf and it makes a huge difference. I only thought I was losing power on uphill motorway sections as I tend not to boot it in built up areas so I didn't think it was down on power that much, how wrong I was!!

£99+vat for a genuine bosch one from famous four (I have no affiliation with this company) and I didn't have adaptive values reset, I just swapped new for old and its transformed the old girl.

Search on the subject suggested some reset and some don't, I didn't and all is fine:)

Thanks for letting us all know. Were you getting any other symptoms other than losing power up hills? Gems or Thor engine?

I didn't think I was, but having covered quite a few miles of all types of roads since fitting the new maf I realise power was quite a bit down.

I guess the maf deteriates gradually so it's not as noticable as a component that just gives up.

Its a Thor by the way.
