Hard shifts to gear 3 as well which supposedly has something to do with this.

I had bought a new MAF sensor a couple years ago when having a different issue.
The issue turned out to be something else and I shelved the new MAF.
Now I remember why I shelved it.
After putting the new sensor in I'm getting bad throttle hesitation. The engine with almost die from a quick throttle increase from idle.
Did I get ripped off on a POS part? I can't remember where I got it. I remember it having this issue from the box though.
