Petrol all the way, and S/C (supercharged) would be like old fashioned proper hard icing.

Depends why you are undecided. There are lots of threads on the things to look out for, ( including this one, which says most of what has to be said)if it's maintenance costs you're worried about.
If it's fuel costs then that comes down to what your wallet says. Although depending how long you intend keeping it, diesel is becoming more and more unpopular with the powers that be.
