No2 Son picked up a LWB Series 3 yesterday, it was on Fleabay at the weekend.
Looks OK, runs (6 cylinder) water pump pulley loose and knocking, chassis looks good as is the exhaust.
We are also hoping to find a Stage 1 front axle, are there any around?
Picked up a 2.5 n/a diesel with gearbox and transfer box out of a Defender, that's going in the SWB Series if we can get the Stage 1 axle. That was done on the same trip with the trailer and van, LWB was out of tax and MOT so we trailered it home.
He also found a complete gas system with tank, vapouriser etc etc for £40, so that's probably going on the 6-cylinder.
