Lucky me?

Hi, I'm new here, and I'm going to let you know that the title of my post is somewhat sarcastic. You decide for yourself. I live across the pond and got my 2003 Land Rover Discovery SE for free. Only 110k miles on it. No spark, no fuel, no problem... a new crankshaft position sensor, and a new fuel pump, and it starts right up. Now battling with the three amigos. I've got the V8 ,and a workshop manual. So many inputs and no idea where to start. I'm thinking the exciter rings,after testing the wheel speed sensors. Help!!!

Thanks for the welcome and the advice on the pics.I have always forgotten to take a before pic, and kick myself when I get to the finished product. I have had enough time to understand the reference to the asylum. I often end my day with a headache, and a new puzzle to solve.

You might want to get yourself a diagnostic. The simple OBD2 ones won't help much and certainly not with the 3 amigos.
Nanocom is probably the best one at the moment although I have managed with my much cheaper Foxwell.
Which helped diagnose and fix the three amigos.

The hub can be just the tiniest bit out and it'll throw them. So tiny you cannot feel it when testing like you normally would for a screwed bearing. Don't matter if the resistance at the sensor is correct or not. New bearing will come with a new reluctor ring ans a sensor attached. I have only paid £60 for a new one and it was fine straight out of the box.
