LT77 gearbox oil change.
Here's how Ah did it
Firstly ah went for a wee drive to warm up the oil. Then Ah removed the filler plug (above the main drain plug) as ah didn't want to find ah couldn't get it out afterah drained the box! .....
it's a square plug but ye can get a socket on it...
Next was the plug on the extension box....
Ah removed it and then took out the filter (remember the oil could be hot!!)...
and let that drain a bit before moving on to the main gearbox drain plug...
removed it and let the box drain completely...
Then it was just a case of refitting the drain plugs with new copper washers as needed and torquing them up. Don't over tighten the plugs as ye may cause some damage!!!
once the plugs were fitted, ah used my trusty garden sprayer to fill the gearbox up with the correct fluid.....
and that's it... job done
