LT77 box?

Just a quicky... weyhay not that kind!

Within the next couple of weeks i will be replacing my 3.5 V8 with a 200tdi and LT77 box.

When looking for the right Disco candidate, for it to have the LT77 in will the 'reverse gear' be next to first gear or 'Where sixth gear would go?

I dont want to get the wrong box!

Also would anyone be intrested in the V8 and LT95 box once iv extricated it? Its all in perfect working order its just that the time has come to go deseasel!

LT77 has reverse forwards and to the left next to 1st. But it won't do you any good at all as a disco box doesn't fit into a defender. Unless yu want the gear levers to come up where the front centre seat or cubby box sits.

I wanted to give it more legs with the fith gear on the LT77. But never really considered keeping the LT95.

Would it mate straight up to the 200tdi?

What would be the benifits of the 95 over the 77?

To make the LT fit yu need to have the bell housing and mainshaft (at least) from a defender's LT77 box.

So would it be a bigger (More expensive) job to have the 200tdi with the lt77 or keeping the lt95 but having to buy the extras?
