LT235/85 R16 fit without adjustments?

Hi Guys,

I just found a set of second-hand wheels and tyres for my series 3. I was wondering will they fit on the car without needing spacers or new springs or other adjustments? I'm on super small 4,5 mud tyres right now and would love to get rid of them asap!

Haven't you asked this already in another thread?

They should fit, would depend on the rims. Might rub the front leaf on full steering lock. If you off road there may be points they get close to the bodywork, but would depend on a lot of things. Including the spec and state of your suspension. Overall they are not hugely different in size to a 7.50 x 16 which was a standard fit size for a Series III.

Yeah have been talking about this size but now I found a set I just wanted to be sure also the rims etc would fit

I think I will just buy them and let's hope they don't rub

Otherwise I will have to change my suspension or ad some spacers maybe!

Should be fine tbh. I have run that size and bigger.

If they rub springs just adjust lock stops, If you fit spacers you may find the tire is more likely to contact the body and load up the steering.
