LT230 Transfer Box Identification

Hi All,

I have the following serial number from a Disco Transfer Box - 28D470632F

I've searched around and it seems it will go straight onto my LT77 gearobx, but I was hoping to identify its age from the serial number - has anyone got an ideas?

The speedo connector looks a bit different but im hoping I can change it over, from my old unit?

Have you looked on Ashcroft Transmissions website ?

Yeah I've just had a look, the website describes how to check (first two numbers and last letter) - this makes mine a 28F..

There is no mention of that kind anywhere??

Just having a poke around online and it appears the "F" suffix was the first year of production to have the cross drilled input (helps me date it anyway,around 1995)
