LSE power steering

I have noticed that the PS seems heavy at very low speeds (1-2mph) when maneuvering. It seems related to engine speeds as a fraction over that and it is much lighter but then you are moving a little too quickly to be safe and accurate.

Other wise its fine, a little whiny at full lock but I imagine that's normal (it is on my other cars too) but when you need it most it seems a bit heavy.

Haven't checked the fluid level but I will.

Any thoughts?

change the fluid in the system. sounds as if the oil is old and contaminated.

sounds like the fluid is low or needs replacing
