i am going mad, my normally very well behaved LSE with 123000 on the clock suddenly started a misfire and running rough at low revs, then cut out and would not restart, i went out 12 hours later and she started first turn of the key. when she got to normal temp she started to play up then cut out and would not start. i tried ecu temp switch, new cap and rotor arm, fuel pressure valve, sensor on the fuel rail, coil, stepper motor, another fuel injection ecu even another distributor. i even drained the tank and tried fuel in case that was the problem. but she just does not seem to want to go.just keeps over fuelling i have tried everything i can think of and its sending me insane, can someone please help

problem resolved. cant believe it, after doing less than 1000 miles 3 spark plugs where faulty. goes to show that the old rule of changing plugs first should always be observed. beware of ngk plugs, i think there maybe a faulty batch about.

the great thing is i have replaced everthing, cleaned everything and she is running like a dream. the local youth in their souped up tin cans commented on it today saying how nice it sounded. cant beat a full stainless steel sports exhaust system to make the ears get horny.

i did find some interesting faults that can occur from some very helpful landrover technicians, so if your LSE plays up, please feel free to contact me. i have a great mind of info now.
