LRO Billing 2009

Any one going to billing on the 17to19th of july.Iam camping from thursday till sunday booked some off roading as well.

We normally camp at billing from sunday to sunday but this year we were told that the vauxhall car show felt intimidated and pushed out by the landrovers arriving on the sunday so we couldnt arrive that weekend. We are now staying tuesday to tuesday. I think it will be quieter than usual with the other show on at the same weekend, maybe a good thing!!

Ermm yu might want to read the other thread on here. Billing isn't likely to be very quiet at all as there's a major construction project underway and they're already behind schedule so I doubt they'll stop work while the shows on..

Its my first time going to billing and all i seem to hear is bad things about it, am i doing the right thing by going?

A load of us Herts lot are there on Saturday. Should be good. Mud run here I come. Peterborough in September is the best show anyway

Go to Newark it'll be a better show. If only because LRM will be pulling out all the stops to make sure everything runs smoothly. and it's closer to you anyway.

+ 1, Went last year and will hopefully go again this Tuned Defenders Powersliding in Mud (I have a video somewhere, will up load it if i can find it), Top Class Facilities, Sodbury Sortout, Loaddds of clubs plus loads more. Bloody Good Weekend

Also going to have a go round the off road track in the disco

Billing imho was awesome

Billing was about a third down on stands and visitors I recon. Not as bad as I thought it was going to be.

Off-road course has been dumbed down so much, I won't do it again.

Mud hole had no mud in it, just muddy water, it'd been bulldozed smooth to remove all of the mud and had a firm base. The extreme bomb hole was taken out of the course altogether.

I'm looking forward to Peterborough.

Billing was first visit to a Landy show, not a bad day out but I can't get my head round why I have to pay to go and view trade stands, I wouldn't pay £35 to go into Lakeside.
I did enjoy the offroad course but it was very tame, I only have road tyres but did all the red routes without any drama.

Well billing went ok no real problems other than the weather can't wait for peterbough

Billing was good apart from the weather. Not as busy as previous years,security was good and did not see any trouble. Bought a winch from david bowyer from the goodwinch stand,great bloke.Had 4 slots on the offroad coures over friday and satuarday,wheel bearing gave up the ghost on the last go round managed to find someone selling some for 6.50 each changed it on sunday morning.

i have decided not to buy a 4x4 because i dont want to end up ****ed up in the head like 95% of the sad ****s with no life on this forum you sad sad freaks
