I learned something new today!!!
I've spent quite a lot of money in recent weeks trying to get my tracking and alignment done on my 2008 LR3. Two different High street tyre centres and a lot of computerised printouts showing what a good job they've done and then the handing over of mucho denero and still it drives like a three wheeled roller skate in the wet. In almost desperation I phoned my local specialist and it turns out due to the air suspension, vehicle diagnostics needs to be plugged in to select tracking mode before the work can be done. Lesson learned !!! Expensive mistake to make !!!

Not something that would spring to mind, is it - is that not in the owners handbook? Mind you, the tyre shop should be keeping up with that sort of 'feature'.

I think car manufacturers must spend about three months designing their car and the next nine working out how to make things bloody awkward!

I haven't seen anything in the hand book but that would make it too easy. The biggest surprise is my local Land Rover Garage is charging less to put right than each garage charge to balls it up!!
