Hello again. I have had my LR3 Go into Limp Mode again. I have a fault reader and there are just 2 codes One said stored and the other said pending. Both were the same code that is P0403 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Control Circuit. The car has only done 83K miles and about 3000 miles ago I had both of the EGR Valves replaced so I would not think it is those. I am reading about an EGR Solenoid might be the culprit. any ideas or experiences or help would be appreciated.
Also although my Battery starts the car ok. I think it is on the old side. I know these cars are very susceptible to batter voltage so I am hoping that could be the cause.

On this occasion switching the car on and off has not sorted the issue.

Thanks in advance

Think you will find the solenoid and the valve are one unit.
What year is the car? pre 07 can just be blanked off for very little money.
Does your code reader do live data? if so you can see if the egr vlaves are moving in a percentage format.

Like all modern cars they are very battery sensitive

Thanks for the Information. I think I am going to replace the Battery first. My LR3 is a 2008/2009 model. I cant believe it is the EGR valves as that was a different code before and it has done so few miles since they were replaced. Buying this LR3 was not the best decision I have ever made

If not using the car much one of the cheap trickle charger from aldi/lidl are very good value fro money at 15 quid.
Obviously battery needs to be good to start with!

Mine gets used for the 5 mile commute twice a day, and I trickle charge the battery at least once a fortnight.

The cheap battery voltmeters from ebay are also very useful, you will be amazed at how high the charge rate is, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Large-LE...111925?hash=item2aea92be35:g:bN8AAOSw49lZt7x1
