I was reading the blogs on www.austin-rover.co.uk and found a rant about how
Land Rover don't mention BL in their "heritage" info on their website.
So - you can tell I have too much time on my hands - I wandered over to look
at the LR website.
And in the section on the original series 1 Discovery on the "Discovery
heritage" page (
http://www.landrover.com/gb/en/Company/Heritage/Heritage_Discovery.htm ), I
found this:
> Discovery launched with advanced technologies such as permanent 4x4
> and the legendary Hill Descent Control included as standard
It's not just me, is it? Surely that bit about HDC is completely wrong.
But incredibly, there doesn't appear to be any way to email LR anywhere on
their entire website. And I hold out very little hope of anybody giving a
damn if I phone them, so the error will remain unless they happen to be
reading this NG...
