LR Warranty - is it transferable?

Morning guys. I am looking at a 2012 RR which still has a Land Rover warranty on it, and I am wondering if its transferable, and if so how easy it is. It expires in September and I want to ensure the car gets a good look over before it does Its a private sale. Thanks

Warranty is on the vehicle, not the owner

Unless it's a separately purchased "extended warranty", in which case it might be a contract between the owner and the warranty provider.

As it's coming up 5 years this looks like a 2 year extended warranty added onto the 3 yr manufacturer warranty when new. Might be official LR contract with them, or could be a dealer/third party contract as said. Each might have different terms about transfer - if it's LR I would guess they just need to be told of new owner. See/check the docs. A
