LR Newbie here

Hi all,
Just purchased a LR Freelander 1... K series engine... (I have the same engine in my Series 1 Lotus too, so a glutton for punishment i'm afraid, but know a lot about these engines !!)
Anyway, it's to be used on my Land in France mostly, although I will probably drive it from here (UK) to the Dordogne and back every now and again.. So needs to be reliable..

Back the Landrover, it's a 52 Plate, and done 80k.. FSH and stuff... Bodywork in good condition.. All works inside apart from 1 of the rear electric windows....

As a newbie to this LR stuff... What would be the best things to checkover first.. ?? Any help would be great..

Everything, full service of all fluids and filters.

Check that the VCU is functional and that there isn't too much of a rumble out of the IRD and rear diff, check the bushes and suspension joints for any excessive wear and that the CV joints are not knocking at all, you know the engine well enough so you should know all the faults that it has.
