so can anybody enlighten me as to how to use a hand pump to fill my lpg tanks from cooker bottles etc.It has occured to me in the event of no petrol i may be able to get some bottled gas....

You can let the stuff run in from the bottle if you can connect it to your filler and have the bottle higher than the tank.
what sort of gas engineer are you or do you work on methane from all your bull ****....can i not just transfer straight from mains gas?

i agree think bob had his head in too many paper bags in past but remember he does come from redruth ffsThe only qualification you have mate is sniffing gas, no gas fitter would make these statements, and I'm sure your winding us up. Fokin north sea gas indeed. Hahahahahha.
