It wont matter which you buy although britpart dont have the best name...

Chances are the line will be seized in place. Are you replacing because of perished rubbers leaking as it very easy to just replace the rubber hose and a **** load cheaper..
 
yeah it's leaking.... both ends where it's crimped... my mechanic friend had a look today and said he managed to loosen it, so should come out ok.. which is why i was just going to get him to swap it..
they are pretty cheap, found the Britpart for 20 and a LR one for 30 ..... so just wonded

Mine leak and I've epoxied them, but I'd rather do a proper fix. If I can just do the rubber, so much the better!!

All you need is:

5/8th oil line/ hose (rubber or otherwise) approx 1 m should easily cover it
8x hose clips.

If you wish to do the transmission its 1/2 oil line for the diesel auto

Cut the original sections out of the old line, clean up and de swarf etc.. flush em to clear the inners and then clamp on the new sections.. Simples... An rather cheap...

Was tempted to move mine, but ive used up rather alot of space with my intercooler.....

I was planning to do this at the weekend. How do I flush them to clear the insides? (without taking them off the car - which is actually what I'm trying to avoid doing in the first place!!)
