Working on the air suspension on my 04 l322,the battery voltage went low and closed the l322 down.
On charging the battery and restarting the jeep the HDC light came on and wouldn't go into gear.
Since I've have never used the low box in the 4 yrs I've owned the jeep on reboot the motor on the transfer box got stuck between low and high ratio.
So in order to fix the problem, unbolt the 3 ten studs holding on the motor and unplug. Put it on a bench and put 12 volts to 9 and 10 pin and this will move the motor
Put back on to the jeep and your HDC light will go out and you will have gears again..its about a 20 min job. Cheers I hope this will help someone.
