Low pressure turbo

Been thinking of next project...

...Engine running pretty well, but I figured a little more torque, might be interesting.

Figured on a relitivly small turbo, Weber 500 in "a box" comp ratio reduced to 9:1 (from just over 10:1) intercooler, oil cooler. Run it a little rich, 5-6PSI off turbo....

...Jobs a good un!

Not looking to go mental with boost just a small fast spooler, with low boost.

Anyone got any experiance in doing this?

Had a go in a Janspeed 3.5 rangie other day, and seemed pretty reasonable...

single will mean some fancy pipe work

if you use twin then a couple of impreza turbos will do the job.

Just got one fat one, only worry I have is pressuring the carb, leaking spindles etc. Hence low pressure turbo. Heads are pretty good in terms of gas flow. Is was planning on using secondary jets as over enrichment under load.... Will build card hat, but contemplating putting complete carb in a box to avoid leakage.....

Any ideas would be welcome.
