Hey all! Want to install a low note horn on my '92 110 but the current one only has one connector where as the low notes all have two. Do I need to run an additional wire or get some type of adapter? I saw somewhere it was mentioned that one of the connectors needs to be a ground? Thanks.

Just about to do a similar job on mine, old original (weak) horn has only one terminal the earth provided by the mounting bolt, new horns from Lucas have two terminals one of which will go to earth. Don't think it makes any difference which terminal is grounded.

Mine had two wires already but when I changed mine it came with an earth wire just long enough to earth it on the bolts that secure the horn bracket.

What's the fascination with cross posting??? You have the same thread on LR4x4.

Not trying to compare replies just trying to get some. Figured if I post in other forums my chances are better. Don't cross post...noted for next time.

Changed mine other week as old one stopped working. Purple n black wire to one of the terminals and made an earth wire up to the other. Sounds a lot better than the embarrassing one I had on before
