Low Emissions Zone

own a defender 90 300tdi 85k and i need to know if it is possible to install a
kit to the exhaust system which will reduce the particle emissions to the levels
approved by the London Transport. The car will be affected by this by 2010 so if I cant I will need to part exchange for something younger although I would hate to do it since it nice and simple and in very good nick. Anyway any thoughts ? Ta

Do a google on it.

I am pretty sure that if a landrover is in PRIVATE ownership a form can be filled out making it exempt from the LEZ regs.

For what it will cost you to fit a low emissions exhaust, you might as well fit a V8 petrol and gas kit. Depending on how it's registered, yours might not be subject to it anyway. You can check here -
