It was superb it was a wee bit windy about 9ish so good it continued until tonight :vb-groan2:🤣

Got these delivered.........they dont feel as if they will split.

I knocked out it. I am trying to push up the upper ball joint with steel pipe by Jack and heat up it at the same time. I suppose 500kg on it, but nothing happened. I am expecting the tool, I wonder if the tool can challenge it.

Unless they were put in yesterday, forget it wait for the tool ;).

When I did mine I found the edge of the hole was sharp, as was the edge on the new ball joint so I filed a very small chamfer on the sharp edge just to get a start, also it's good practice to put the new ball joint in the freezer for 24hrs before you plan to install them, and gently warm up the axel, get the toolready to do the job before getting of out of the freezer, as you want to keep it a cold a possible to get themin, it does make it easier to get them in

Good idea! When I separated the knuckle, it was hard to loose its lower part. I tried to heat it up, then cool down with cold water immediately, metal expansion and contraction can help.
 
To get more access to the caliper bolts on passenger side by turning the steering wheel to the most right, I found the steering was moving when undoing the bolts. I disconnected the driver side rod track. I thought power steering won't move, is there a way to prevent steering from moving?
