hey guys just had to post this. ive always had disco and r/r classics.always had either 200tdi/300tdi. and to be honest by the time ive put all my off road stuff on them i end up getting about 18mpg thats what i got from my last one.well any way my last disco finally gid up just before christmas and i always said im going to buy a 3.9v8 lpg, and gusee what i had abargain on a esmodel on gas dead clean superb engine and solid under neath no mot engine was running high and uneven when i brought it. had it december and paid 700.00 for it.then i decided to get it running right so came across a guy on utube who lives in newzealand. man does he know his v8.he did a talk about this ecumate diagnostic thing 120.00 new.said you need one its a god sent .and two right. since i brought it the faults that it found and things i have put right only small problems and cheap sensors one being the stepper motor. well my motor is now running that sweet and that quick and to be honest i must be getting 17mpg around town driving around 2000rpm.and the pick up is awsome.a big diffrence was the plugs i fitted those brisk plugs of ebay 30.00 well spent.faults with mine was vacume advace missing. vacume pipes off. split vaccume pipes and reprogramming of stepper motor. plenium i took off and washed all the throttle body out and breathers, and setting of the base idle screw the proper way. and cant belive the power and speed of this thing.will never go back to diesel there sluggish and not that much more better on fuel. at least with the v8 i got all comfort and power and lpg at 59.pence a litre. cant be bad aye,

Fair point. However, that means that those of us (who can be bothered) need to read your words a few times to fit the punctuation! Personally it gives me blurred eyes and a mild headache...
