Advice please on who to contact. Unfortunately, my hubby has lost the only key & fob for my 02 Land Rover Freelander 1.8 TD. Could anyone advise who I should contact for a reasonably priced, quick solution, in Essex please?

The quickest is to replace ecu and all key barrels which are steering column, driver door, tailgate and fuel cap. That is in time you may find them cheap on Ebay.
Order from the dealer would take time I know because I tried to order a spare key.
Maybe I am wrong and somebody else has a better idea. There is no 1.8 td maybe td4 or 1.8 petrol?
You also need somebody pro to get in and I am not sure about the fuel cap how to get it out without vandalism.

Does the Timpson's key actually start the car or just unlock the doors?
