lost a bolt

hi all

just fitted a new alternator and pas pump. finished fooling around as its dark now.

i have lost a bolt from the pully will an m8 (i think it is) bolt work obviousley i will need to trim it down, but will it fit and tighten up with out catching the edge of the hub when tightening it up?

dose any one know where i can get one that will fit as it has a 10mm head

its a 300 tdi

hi just a quick one i fitted an m8 15x1.5mm bolt in and it fits a treat, got the new belts fitted today and all is well in my world.

pulled up and there is the bolt sat on the floor.

wernt there when i checked last night or this morning but got back from testing the old girl and there she is.

Glad you got it sorted but. If it were me I wouldn't have moved until I found it, but saying that it can't get into the engine so you would have been fairley safe
