Hi All,
I have a 98 Discovery 3.9ltr v8i with a lpg conversion.
I have a problem when switching over to gas. I wait until the engine is warm as always (otherwise she backfires and stalls) then I hit the switch so I can change from petrol to lpg, I run the revs over 2000 then drop them gently back down so the engine can switch to gas.
Now when the revs drop under 2000 revs the revs drop really quite sudden and harsh but it keeps going, however I seem to have a loss of power, its at its worst when I stop at a junction because when I press the accelorator to go it just doesnt have the power to move its as if when I press the accelorator the revs drop, but it does move after a few seconds.
Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know how to fix it.
Cheers
John
