Looking to buy a Range Rover Sport

Hi guys

Been looking at buying a Range Rover sport for a few years now and been waiting for the price to come down. Been to a few auctions at blackbushe a few years ago but the price was too high. Me and my dad have set a budget of anything below 8k or around that mark. Heard that the 2.7L engine isn’t the best to go for? And that the 3.6L is the best?. I was just curious if anyone is willing to sell or has any leads on a 3.0 3.6 or V8 , below or around 8k and mileage below 90k. Many thanks guys

Yeah I’m not a fan of discos at all , squashed looking boxes

Don’t know anyone here selling a Sport. Try EBay/Motortrader/autocar/gumtree

£8G is good budget, you should get good one for bit shy of that

Yeah we had a look at auction a few years ago couldn’t find anything. But yeah anything 2007 up preferably 08 decent mileage and not a 2.7L!

Dont forget to factor in a few grand for repairs into the budget for your D3/RRS

You have been misled by @RangeRoller dt taking the mickey. This is a community, not a sales and wants site. . I'm surprised you haven't been jumped on from a great height.
We have a sales and wants section. However, you need 50 constructive posts , on the forums to,use it. This is to prevent our community turning into 'anyone got a motor for sale' site.

I have been completely honest
He ain’t gonna find a RRS here but can buy mine if he wants a RR (instead ),

All the running gear and chassis is a disco it's just got a different body hence disco in drag
